The following guided relaxation meditation exercise is an extended version of the free guided relaxation meditation exercise (running time: 07:21) offered on this site.  This extended version runs for approximately 19 1/2 minutes (19:25) and has been recorded with a higher quality for your listening enjoyment.   In this extended version you will be able to spend some time focusing on all the various areas mentioned in the free version.

Your physical body has often been described as the temple of your Soul.  In this guided relaxation meditation exercise your body serves as a focal point from which you can commune with your Soul.  In his book, The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle also refers to the body as one potential gateway for you to experience the wonder of your true Being.  "The body that you can see and touch is only a thin illusory veil.  Underneath it lies the invisible inner body, the doorway into Being, into Life Unmanifested." (p. 99).   When you focus your attention on your body, your mind becomes still and you can begin to realize your true potential.  This guided relaxation meditation exercise offers a combination of breath work and focused bodily awareness.  By learning how to tap into the immense energy field that ultimately is your body you will be guided towards higher levels of spiritual enlightenment.  By becoming more aware of the energy field within your body this guided relaxation meditation exercise will also promote spiritual healing and will help to energize a consciousness of abundance.

Insight Meditation, or Vipassanā in the Buddhist tradition, has often been translated as ‘clear seeing' or ‘Seeing Deeply'.  Insight occurs when you are able to present a request for guidance on the backdrop of pure consciousness.  When you are able to surrender a question or a problem to a higher intelligence and then put your mind into a state of detached observation or introspection an answer or some form of inner guidance (Insight) will occur.  Following the Buddhist tradition, this guided insight meditation exercise will initially guide you to a place of inner calm and alert concentration.  From here, a guided visualization exercise will bring you before an infinite intelligence where you can then present your request for guidance.  After you have presented your request you will then be left in a state of deep contemplation or reflection, giving you some time for Insight to occur.  When an answer or inner guidance does emerge, you will be left feeling confident, calm, and at peace, knowing without a doubt, that this insight has come from a place of infinite wisdom.
